Palampur

Volunteers Home Base is located just a few kilometers away from picturesque Palampur town in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Just behind the town stands high ranges of Dhauladhar mountains, whose tops remain covered with snow for most part of the year. The little Himalayan town is surrounded by mountains, pine forests and tea gardens. Palampur has some splendid walks around the town including Bundla tea garden, Neugal river,  and many more.  Fresh water and river streams flowing from the Dhauladhar mountain ranges, trails and greenery all around offer a quaint and serene environment. The place truly blessed by nature, the unending beauty.
