All in all a valuable and memorable experience, there was a good variety of work; a mix of examination, scaling, temporary fillings and extractions, It was interesting to see a Indian dental clinic setup. Food was generally good; bedrooms and bathrooms facilities were fine. Bobby the coordinator very friendly, charismatic man who was able to provide us with ample clinical experience and also cultural and local knowledge.

Overall, I found the volunteering program an excellent experience, I feel the opportunity greatly enriched and broadened my horizon both personally and professionally. The program provides an opportunity to observe how dentistry is carried out in India and also how it's different from back home. Meals were excellent. I would have the highest regards for the coordinators Bobby and Amit both were extremely helpful and the experience enhanced my experience overall.

Very enjoyable and rewarding. I thoroughly enjoyed and benefited from the work experience, the second week was the most enjoyable at it was very “hands-on” and I really felt that I was making a difference for the local people. A good balance between patient ages plus it was very useful to be able to have independence during the elective in treating patients to build up confidence. The house is nice with plenty of room for the group plus all needs were met. The beds were comfortable and there is a beautiful view from the house. The meals were vegetarian and very tasty with plenty of food. Bobby a very lovely, cheerful man with plenty of enthusiasm. He is very helpful in answering any questions we had and was always ready and willing to step in if we had any difficulty during the dental placement, Thank you for your kindness and hospitality.

I really enjoyed my placement in Palampur, accommodation is simple but clean and a pleasure to stay. The paragliding experience was definitely the highlight of my trip, in terms of placements the surgeries at karan hospital were incredibly interesting and expanded my knowledge greatly. It was definitely a positive experience and the staff was amazing. Both Bobby and Amit the coordinators were wonderful and helped us with all our needs, they were informative and fun. The overall experience was very positive.

I enjoyed all my placement, rotary women and childcare hospital, Karan hospital Dr. Kalyan's walk-in clinic. I learned different things at each of them. My favorite in terms of learning the most was Dr. kalyan’s as he is always explaining and constantly teaching even while seeing patients. The accommodation is very nice, a lot work has been put into making the volunteers welcoming & comfortable and its very clean. The meals were always delicious and filling. The coordinators were amazing and always very caring and trying to make sure everyone is happy, healthy and safe. The highlights of my program was trekking to Triund, driving to Manali and sightseeing in kangra valley and to observe surgeries live in operation theatre. I would definitely recommend it, I have a great experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at women's hospital, everyone was so friendly and welcoming and I have learnt so much about healthcare in India and about myself. The volunteer home base is perfect for what I needed located in such beautiful surroundings. The food was authentic Indian and delicious. The coordinators Bobby and Amit were very helpful and organized, as well as being so friendly and accommodating. I have had so many highlights on this trip, I cannot specify the best, from delivering babies and making new friends, visiting temples, monasteries, sitting around the campfire, my whole stay has been incredible. Thank you so much to all the organisation and coordination - I have had a truly-wonderful time and experience.

The placement was an amazing experience we were able to “listen” in on every aspect of the medical systems of India. Accommodation was great-no hassles. Meals were awesome! Seeing the surgeries was the best part of the internship, going paragliding was the best part of the trip in Palampur and trekking was also a great time. The staff and coordinators absolutely amazing, thanks to everyone especially Bobby and Amit, who made many events and activities on our trip possible - without them it would not have been the same. Everyone has been so lovely and welcoming. Thanks for a fantastic time.

I am very happy and thankful to have had the opportunity to work with the students at the childcare. The house was very comfortable and the food was delicious, the cook was very accommodating and took great care of us. My add on culture trips to Agra Taj mahal was definitely my highlight. Trekking was also incredible seeing the Himalayas like that was so unreal. Bobby is absolutely wonderful, he takes on so much personal responsibility to make sure I felt safe, was happy and overall positive about my experience, he is super helpful with recommendations. And anything that is needed. Join this program for a life changing experience.

The staff is excellent, very quick responses to my questions, all questions answered. We enjoyed our placement very much. Excellent chef prepared fresh meals, all our requests met for honey cereals etc. The number of trips and sights that were arranged for us example temples, tea plantation, yoga plus paid cultural trips were amazing. I recommend this program for future volunteers it's a good value for money. The staff is very friendly and helpful arranged good cars with safe drivers for our trips.

I really enjoyed working here in Palampur at the child care center. It is probably best to do a longer placement here. Meals and house were good the cook was always polite and happy. Bobby and Amit the coordinators were very helpful to us during our stay. I recommend this program for others.

I like the program very much it was amazing. The accommodation is fantastic, our rooms are very comfortable with attached bathroom, western toilets with hot water etc. The food was really good. After being here for 7 weeks I don't feel like leaving anymore, the thought of leaving all these new relations and achievements with my school kids behind makes me sad. The coordinator is great, he treated us like we were princesses and made every one of our wishes come true, he took care of me when I was sick and he always has time for us. He is open and you can have amazing conversation about India. I will for sure recommend this program for future volunteers it’s a life changing experience.

The accommodation was perfect volunteers had their own space. Food was also good, the cook asked us what we want and the food was freshly cooked and Indian authentic. I loved working at the project, I loved the kindness of the village people something that is rare in the western world, everybody gave a feeling of acceptance and respect I felt like home. I definitely will recommend this program. I enjoyed my stay, everyone was trying to make us comfortable as possible and I liked that people were always honest with us.
